My Best Day With My Mum

Last week on Saturday my mum and I and the rest of the family went figure skating. As soon as we entered through the doors it was cold like I was left outside to freeze. We had to wait in a line to get our shoes. I felt like the line was rushing to get tickets for a huge concert. Finally we got to the top of the line and ordered our shoes quickly.

After that we had to walk all the way around the ice rink to get to our chairs. My dad said I could go first. Every bit of me was shaking and I felt like there were butterflies in my stomach. I went on the ice for the first time I couldn't control my feet properly. I nearly got the hang of using my feet properly.

Meanwhile I saw my mum getting on to the ice, she was scared like a bear was going to eat her, so she jumped of the ice and my dad already knew how to ice skate before me. I was so shocked at my dad that I didn't want to look at him.

As soon I was on the ice my sister was on. She slipped a few times and on her bottom. She was having fun and screaming too. I could hear her screaming all the way from the other side of the rink. When I did my second round I heard lots of people having fun and screaming as loud as they can.

After that I had enough skating for tonight, so I asked my mum if we can head back home and she said “alright call your dad to come in.” I shouted to my dad “ Dad we are going now.” He came skating as fast as he can. Finally we head back home and I said to myself “ I had a really fun time.”

My Art Reflection

For the last couple of weeks we have been doing colour mixing. We have been doing our art in landscape. The art that we copied off from is Ton Schulten.  Ton Schulten is a creative art person. He has lots of beautiful arts that are landscaped. We have been working hard with our arts, and wish to do some more next term.

Term 2 Reflection

For the past 9 weeks we have been working really hard and learning new things.  My favorite 2 subjects this term was art and kiwi sports. But my worst subject was writing.

I really enjoyed doing art because we got to do color mixing. We all had simple colors like red, blue, yellow,black and white. The black and white helped us make the colors darker and lighter.

Kiwi sport was really fun this year because we learned lots of different skills from Ben our coach. The hardest game in soccer was playing crab soccer on our bottoms. We also had a tournament against each other.

My worst subject this term was writing. I wasn't really good with writing because I didn't know lots of things, but I knew what elaborating means.

Wow I can't wait for next term.

Interactive Drum

On Wednesday we went to the hall. When we went there we heard Johnny and Lucy play a song, once there I thought it was pretty cool because they had different tunes, while we had a drum each.

 When I sat down I heard him say to us to follow him sing to the song, I like drums I like drums I like drums drums drums, after we all coped johnny we all felt tired. Also we had to sing the lyric Yes I like it very very much.

After we all heard Johnny and Lucy play a very had song that they really played it fast because even I couldn't catch up with them. My favorite part was when the had a music to play and they catch a nice and smooth rythme
