Smart Searching Challenge

This is a presentation that my partner Ana and I have created. For the past week or 2 we have been practicing on how to research a question using 5 keywords, but this time it's different. We had a website that helped us pick out a a letter, and the letter we got was "K". The first thing that popped up with Knight. Ana and I decided to research about knights. But first we had to come up with interesting and powerful questions to help us. One of the questions were "Were there any girl knights?". After answering all those questions we put in some intersecting facts about Knights and our resources. We learnt a lot from cyber-smart and Knights.

Read Theory

Today in reading we have been doing Read Theory. When we do Read Theory, we do for every 20 minutes. In this activity, I was learning how to understand the text, thinking about what the question was asking me to do, and looking back at the passage to find more information to answer my questions. My reading group has also been using comprehension cards to help us understand if we are stuck with a question.

Smart Footprint

A Smart Footprint is when you get smart on the internet. Like you can’t give your personal details about you too much on the internet. You can not share your address and your phone number and your age. You must keep you Email account private. You should never share your password to anybody else but you can tell your parents and guardian but not your friends. When you are creating a Password you use letters,at least 8 characters. Don’t use name, age, occupation and pets name.
