Today in maths I have been learning about decimals. A group of us were sent off to play a game called Place Value Pirates. The photo on top tells me the score I got in total.

Halving & Doubling

Today in maths I have been learning about halving and doubling. See these questions made it even harder, but then when my teacher got to explain it, it became easier to solve. I have created a D.L.O. explaining how to solve these 2 simple equations.

E-ako

Today in maths I have been practicing my multiplication and division. So far for my last points i have gotten up to 118 points. I got up to this one and this one is hard because I forgot the answers. I am so close to finishing it.

Using 5 Timetables To Solve Our Problem

Today in maths my partner nd I have created a D.L.O that explains using your 5 timetables to answer your question. We have put 3 equations and broken it apart so it is easier.

Mathsmulti

I maths I have been practicing my timetables by playing a maths game called Mathsmulti. I was practicing my 3x 4x and my 8x. The one that felt difficult was the 8x because I keep stopping and then time runs out.

PBS Flag Vote

Today LS2 have been creating a graph or a pie chart to explain how much students want which flag. In each classroom, every student was voting for which flag they want to keep. As you can see it is between our current flag and our new flag. 

Ordering Populations

This is another game that I have played today. This one called ordering populations. You have to order how much populations are in each country from the highest to the lowest. I got 3 right but then ended up with 7 wrong. I was learning to or it by using the thousands, and hundred thousands.

Beat The Computer

Today I have been playing math games. This game is called beat the computer. The key to the game is to make a bigger number than the computer to beat it. So far I have 3/5.

Caterpillar Ordering

Today for maths I have been playing a maths game called caterpillar ordering. The key to the game is that you have to order all the numbers from smallest to the biggest. So far I got one wrong, and ended up with 16/17.

Problem Solving

Mixing Lemonade

In maths m partner and I were learning on knowing which lemonade glass that is more stronger than the other. So we put on our thinking hats and worked out a strategy. We finally finished and i hope you enjoy looking at our strategy.

My Spelling Test

Today I have did my spelling test. These words are so different to the words that I had before. The new thhat I learnt while i was doing my spelling was amusing. Amusing means when you case laughter and a conversation. Enjoy

Identity Survey

Today the classroom and I were making a survey. The survey was about our identity like where were you born, what language you speak in and when you were born. We were doing it because we were letting people know a little more about us. Next week we are going to to use our information and turn it into graphs

My 3D Hand

This is my 3D hand. I have made on mistake but at least it is finished. I took me 3 weeks and I finally finished it. My colors were light blue and yellow.

This is my name art that I have made. I had to write my name in flicks and also cover mostly all of it. I tried to make and art with it and I did. I made eyes and eye leaves. I was hard but I completed it.

Cricket World Cup New Zealand vs Sri Lanka

This is a graph we made in class today with Miss Paton. We made this based on the Cricket world cup on saturday. New Zealand vs Sri Lanka. New Zealand had won by 98 runs the scores to New Zealand are 331 to NZ and 233 to Sri Lanka.
