Spelling

The new word I learnt to spell was easiest. I also know that easiest means you achieved without great effort; presenting few difficulties.: "an easy way of retrieving information". This is my example using the word easiest.
Eg: Kiki glared at him, but Rhyn knew this brother to be the easiest of the three to sway.

Learning My 6 Time Tables

Today I was learning my 6 time tables. First I had to write out my 6 time tables in my maths book 4 or more times. Second I had to practice a game of 6 time tables so the answers would stick into my head when I do my 6 time tables test. Here is my results from the test and I got 10/10. I am so happy.

Learning My Numbers In Maori

Today at Maori I have been learning something new. I have been practicing this game about numbers changed into Maori words. For example whitu + rima = 12. It was very hard because I had to count with my fingers to get the answers.

My Thank you letter

Dear Kids Can

Wow, what a journey. Thank you so so much for taking us on a life time trip to Rangitoto. I was so excited about the trip because it was my first time going on a ferry! The ferry was amazing. It had the best views that you can possibly see. I got a little bit sea sick when we got off the boat. It was like my stomach was inside out. Any way the island was so beautiful. It had a wonderful little shelter and all sorts of things   that I saw.

This was my first time being on Rangitoto island.  It had a fantastic view on the island and lots of trees. The trees were so big you couldn’t see the the path that you were meant to walk on. The Kids Can helps were amazing and so encouraging. Every Time we would stop and say “I’m so tired I can’t do it anymore” they tell them “Don’t give up just keep going”. If it wasn’t for them we would of stopped half way and walked back.

The best part for me was when  I got to the top and got to see beautiful view of everything. I could see our fantastic city, other places and much more. But the most thing I liked about this bit is that I could spend it with my friends and my teacher.

I had lots of fun with my teacher and wish to go again some day. It was a fabulous adventure that I could ever go on. Thank you so much for everything that you have done.

Your Sincerely Victoria

This is my writing that I have been writing for the last couple of weeks. I hope you enjoy reading my writing.

Maths Problem

Today me and my partner Mahdia were working out a strategy for our maths problem. We were learning how to make 100 using the digits 1 to 9. It was very confusing but we finished it.
