Netball

Yesterday was our last day of netball. We had lots of fun and I learnt lots of skills with Merrin, our netball coach, and the rest of the class. The skills that I learned was to balance on one leg like a flamingo, and shoot the ball into the hoop, standing still when you are passing the ball, but not stepping. We had a lot of fun playing netball as our kiwi sport and we wish to do it again.

My Magration

If I would migrate from a place it  would be Tonga. The reason why I would migrate from Tonga is because the hospital there is not enough to treat my family. But in New Zealand they take care as many people they can.

Auckland Musem

Yesterday morning it was a cold and cloudy day. It was cold like we were up in the north pole freezing to death. As soon I walked in with my mum as a helper, there were lots of helpers sitting on the seats. My mum sat down with the other parents and waited until Mrs Miller got back.

As soon as the roll was called out we lined up and waited by the footpath for our bus to arrive. We waited and waited but the bus wasn't here so Mrs miller called out to eat a little snack because it going to be morning tea soon. Later on the bus arrived and we hoped on drove to the museum at fast as we could. At the museum we were learning lots new things like why tapa is important to us and a special tree that is in New Zealand hidden to be safe so it can last.

The lady at the museum was talking to us about migration as our topic back at school. For migration means our an-sisters moving countries for a better future. our an-sisters brought important things with them like their musical instruments, clothing, titis, tapas and mostly their language. The lady at the museum said the only thing she couldn't live without is her language.

My favorite part is the Marae going inside and seeing the carvings, I also enjoyed washing my hands with scared. It to get rid of any bad things in that area. I really liked going to the museum, and I wish to go there again.

My Frightening Night

My Frightening Night

Crash! Bang! I hear creepy footsteps up the stairs!

It was just mum, dad, sister and me at home sleeping through the night. While was sleeping, I could hear loud footsteps. I could hear it getting louder and louder. I close my eyes and imagine that nothing is happening but I just can’t. I get up and hide in the cupboard and wait until of of the nightmares go away. I felt like the house was haunted because it had smelly shoes lying on the floor, curtain blowing in the air and wall peels ripping of the walls.

I could feel my body shaking in nervous. I was so scared that I nearly wet my pants. it was getting cold and suddenly I heard the doorknob turning slowly like a slow walking turtle. I had to be brave now and see who it was and guess who it was. I was my sister sleep walking all over the place. She kept opening rooms and turning the doorknobs slowly so she can find she bedroom. So I guess that wasn't really a scary night well it felt like to me. But I just hope that it doesn't happen again.

Duffy Theater

Photo
Today on a very exciting day we all got ready to go to the hall. I was so excited because I couldn't wait to watch the play. As soon as we entered through the door it was cold like their were snow dropping off the roof.

Mean while the show was about to start and 3 people were standing up their waiting for us to sit down. Their names were Uncle Bingo, Rosie and luck last Duffy.

When we were all sitting down Rosie jumped out of no where and Duffy asked her if she can sing the Duffy song with us and she said " Sure I love to sing the Duffy song."  Not long when we made a book for uncle bingo for him to read.

But when he open the book their were lots of things we put in that book that came out like a net for people to be trapped in.

My favorite part was when the smell jandle was in Rosie's face and the hairy dog that was licking uncle Bingo's ear. The message for the play was to  READ READ READ !!!
